Another example of the ‘mamaracho’ style, this unidentified saint is portrayed crowned and standing a base with a single angel. The expression is forceful, the entire composition striking, and the coloration is wonderfully vivid. Carved entirely from one piece of hardwood, it is a large and very impressive piece for the collector of folk santos.
